I just spent 6 days at Al Cielo, and went back home with a big smile. I only have the best comments regarding the experience, the service, the food etc.
In detail:
The rooms are great, with an incredible view, and a chance to be so close to nature.
The food was superb, all meals were wonderfully presented and just amazing.
The service is first class, relaxed but at the same time the staff goes out of their way to make your stay truly comfortable.
What can I say, Olga, Andres, Jesus and everyone else made us feel so welcomed, there is a genuine hospitality, and such nice details for
our stay as fresh flowers in the rooms and dinning area, natural toiletries, and always a sincere smile.
The difference with big chains is that Al Cielo has a class of its own, without being pretentious nor overrated.
I hope I can make it a tradition to go every year.

Una breve nota para agradecer nuestra estancia en Al Cielo. No hubieron mas que buenas experiencias que se convierten en buenos recuerdos.
Las habitaciones son una maravilla,y es asombroso el poder dormir cercanco al oleaje del mar y naturaleza.
La comida es por demas soberbia, la presentacion, y el servicio son impecables.
Verdaderamente se agradece el trato amable y relajado, la sincera hospitalidad y sonrisa diaria......el que nos hayan hecho sentir bienvenidos.
Es notorio la clase con la que se maneja cada aspecto de su hotel, hasta el minimo detalle como son articulos de tocador naturales en las habitaciones, como las flores en diversas instalaciones, son detalles muy refinados sin caer en pretenciones.
Nuestro mas sincero agradecimiento a Olga, Andres, Jesus y los demas miembros de Al Cielo que hicieron de nuestra estancia una muy grata
experiencia, que esperamos repetir a manera de tradicion cada año.

Al Cielo is a very remote and rustic hotel. Comprised of only four rooms and a restaurant it is the ideal location for relaxing getaway. It is like having a private beach with excellent service. Beach was in perfect condition with do damage from the recent hurricane. No TV's or phones helps the relaxing atmoshpere.
The only downside is that if you don't have a car you are limited as there is only one other restaurant in walking distance and that is a small Cafe.
Proximity to Playa del Carmen is an added benefit that allows you to get out and socialize if you that is what you want.
Service was excellent and friendly. Restaurant had good food at great prices and the salted fish was unbelievable. Room was very clean although walls are a little thin.

El honor fué para nosotros, nunca habíamos estado en un lugar tan bello, tan sencillo y tan relajante. Yo en lo personal les quiero agradecer todas sus atenciones y detalles, la sorpresa para mi esposa salió de las mil maravillas y estuvo feliz, dice que ha sido el mejor viaje y regalo de toda su vida, y en gran parte todos ustedes me ayudaron para que así resultara todo.
La amabilidad y el servicio de todo el personal fué extraordinario, desde el amanecer hasta el anochecer.
La comida estuvo realmente sabrosa, y mis respetos para Paco de la cena tan especial que nos preparó, así como a los demás sobre el montaje y decoración de la mesa en la playa.
Nos encantó todo el concepto de tú hotel y todo tú personal tan valioso y esmerado.
La única manera que podemos corresponderles todas sus finas atenciones, es que no se sorprendan que próximamente reciban muchas solicitudes de reservación, ya que a todos nuestros familiares y amistades les hemos hablado y detallado el maravilloso fin de semana que pasamos en Al Cielo.

No hay mes que no me recree echando una ojeada a vuestra web. Eso hace que se mantenga fresco en mi mente el recuerdo de un día innolvidable. Hi, I am Pollyanna, my partner Lewis Leach and I enjoyed your place during our recent visit to Mexico. (Aug.27-Jul.4). We had talked to you about bringing family down there in November. Well in the mean time we would like to come down for three or four nights, the first or second week of August. I have family going to be in the area scuba diving both weeks, either one would be good for us. Was hoping you would be around too, do enjoy visiting with you.
We really enjoyed Al Cielo, the service was great, wonderful choice in music, the food, oh my the food is excellent, the beach and atmosphere are total relaxation.

Before life took over again we wanted to thank you for the a wonderful Christmas vacation week at al Cielo. It was exactly as we hoped it would be, and exceeded our expectations. Everyone was eager and willing to be helpful and kind. We felt like we spent New Years with friends rather than strangers. I don't think we have stayed up that late in years.
The attention to detail didn't go unnoticed. We noticed all the small things that separated you from others and appreciated it all. The meals were wonderful, and the warm way that our 16 year old son was treated made him feel very special. Attention was paid to us to make us feel good, and special in these small surroundings. Ricardo and everyone there are kind and genuine. It was fun telling our friends back home about the trip, and although al Cielo is not for anyone wanting a ton of amenities, we found the combination of sky, sand, water and food the perfect recipe for our family.
Wishing you a happy new year. We have never liked anything so much that we have wanted to go back. You can count on seeing us again.
